Taking stock and thinking green

The tech world always moves quickly, but rarely has it been as tumultuous as this. The events taking place at OpenAI have kept me on my toes; they’ve also made me think about what the future of AI is going to look like and how it’s going to impact the planet. The technology is amazing, yes, but it wasn’t designed sustainably. For AI to make the right impact without threatening Earth’s precious resources, we’ll need other breakthrough technologies to reduce the environmental burden that AI and data-intensive applications like it place on the planet.

From managing energy with innovative power solutions to decreasing the CO2 impact from food waste, there are so many impact-driven greentech startups working to decrease our carbon footprint. I share my advice on how to craft winning sustainability pitches on TechCrunch. Make sure you’re following my six-point checklist to make the headlines and we’re proud to be putting those tricks of the trade to use for our own clients too!

We created a global PR storm around IOTA’s launch of its $100 million entity under the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) for the sustainable tokenization of real-world assets. We landed coverage across the world on Reuters, U.S. News, Nasdaq, CoinDesk, Markets Insider, Cointelegraph (again), Yahoo!Finance, Daily Mail, The Star, Newsbreak, Channel News Asia, Investing, U.Today, Cryptonews.com, Zawya, The Defiant, crypto.news, BeInCrypto, Crypto Daily, and so many more.

IOTA is also making sustainability a priority. The Foundation goes beyond digital assets and promises digital autonomy for everyone, which it proved isn’t an impossible goal with the launch of IOTA 2.0. The news garnered media attention on MSN, Infoebae (again), Investing.com, CoinmarketCap, AMEX, Markets Insider, Investor Place, Future Zone, U.Today (again) (again), Cryptopolitan (again), CryptoNews, 0xzx, The Coin Republic, Bitcoin Insider, Cryptonewsz, Bankless Times, Cryptomonday, Crowdfund Insider, and more.

The holidays are a time when you can take some time off to reflect and spend time with those you love. They remind us to appreciate the annual progress we've made, both professionally and personally, and to cherish the moments spent with loved ones. It's a season not just for celebration, but also for gratitude and thoughtful contemplation about the future we want to create for ourselves and for the generations to come. As the world moves faster and faster, it’s important to slow down occasionally and focus on the truly important things: Your own emotional and physical health, as well as the health of your loved ones and of course, our planet.
