This month, we thoughtfully navigated uncertain times
This monthly roundup arrives at a difficult time in the world, and we’ve been sensitively navigating the needs of journalists and the needs of our clients. As someone who’s been in PR for a long time, it’s important for everyone to focus on this international crisis at hand and do our part. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ukrainian people, and we are glad to see Europe uniting together against Putin.
Recognizing the needs of our interconnected global society is an important part of any PR pro’s job. We saw this at the start of the COVID pandemic, and we are seeing it now – reporters are focused on Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and the news cycle is unpredictable from day to day. Pitching journalists on any other topic, or awkwardly trying to angle your company’s name into current events, may leave a bitter aftertaste. A great deal of sensitivity is required.
In my latest article on Forbes, I talk about the importance of watching which topics and narratives are resonating with reporters and readers – and which are making their eyes roll – when metaverse startups are trying to get noticed. This is good and timely advice for any startups at the moment.
Our clients have also been sharing valuable advice on topics of importance in their own industries, from democratizing content creation to protecting customer data and ensuring the reliability of banking systems. Here are some of the thought leadership pieces that have resonated with readers around the world.

In his piece on Nasdaq, Artlist’s Head of Creative and Digital, Liran Friedman, offers his perspective on social platforms, explaining how TikTok and others are leading the way to democratize content creation.
In his article on Entrepreneur, Duda’s CEO and Co-Founder, Itai Sadan, addressed the most common mistakes when it comes to Google’s Core Web Vitals and offered tips for how website developers can fix them.
Michael Collins, Associate of the Credit Union Practice at Qualitest Group, wrote on IBS Intelligence about digital transformation in the financial services industry and how this has sparked the need for credit unions to ensure the reliability of their banking systems.
Speedb’s Co-Founder and CEO, Adi Gelvan, takes a deep dive into metadata at Stack Overflow, explaining how metadata is responsible for a whole range of problems with databases and providing insights into how to avoid these issues.
