Perfectly Sliced - September 2022

Huge bylines, great coverage, and impressive awards made for a big summer finale

We’ve been hard at work racking up successes since our last roundup! While late summer is usually a slow period in the PR industry, our clients have maintained a steady stream of exciting news, as you’ll see below in this month’s update.

We’ve been generating some amazing buzz of our own, and I’m happy to share that our SlicedBrand team is a PRNEWS Platinum PR Award finalist in the “Media Relations - Agency” category for our successful campaign for Wasteless and its AI technology to reduce food waste! In addition to that, I am very proud to be a finalist for the “Agency PR Pro of the Year” category.

Our team was also recently recognized with honorable mentions for two of PR Daily’s 2022 Social Media & Digital Awards – the Best Public Relations Campaign AND Media Relations Campaign.

In other good news, my first article for Cointelegraph’s Innovation Circle looks at communication lessons learned from the crypto crisis and offers tips for the industry to avoid the biggest mistakes of the crash. I was also quoted in a Cointelegraph article with my tips to help crypto marketers build momentum for their projects.

Our clients have also been busy highlighting important issues in tech and offering solutions to key problems. They’ve shared their insights on topics such as diversity and inclusion initiatives, ways businesses can succeed with mobile advertising, and how to solve the current problems with web domain ownership.

Jenny Q. Ta, CEO of GalaxE.io by HODL Assets, highlights on TechCrunch the strategies tech companies should be using as they proceed with fundraising during a downturn in the market.

In his piece on Nasdaq, Decentraweb’s Founder and CEO, Michael Calce, offers insights into problems with domain purchases and ownership and how these problems can be addressed to make processes more equitable.

Mesha’s Co-Founder and CEO, Tahem Verma, shares on Benzinga the ways the NFT industry can bring new investors to the table, such as highlighting the benefits, addressing the price factor, and simplifying the process.

On HackerNoon, Xayn’s Co-Founder and CEO, Leif-Nissen Lundbæk, examines how the tech industry is undoing the benefits of ethical AI.

In his article on BeInCrypto, MetaNept’s Founder and CEO, Jonathan Cohen, addresses disinterest in the metaverse and explains a variety of ways that metaverse designers can make it easier for people to join virtual worlds.

Qualitest’s CHRO, Einav Lavi, writes about diversity and inclusion initiatives for SHRM and notes how companies can adjust their job descriptions, particularly the specific words used in them, to attract a more diverse range of applicants.

When they’re not sharing their expert insights with the rest of the world, our clients are making headlines for announcements about their launches, acquisitions, and new app features. Check out the great coverage we’ve gotten for these and many other stories.

See you next month!
